This song is from my upcoming album „Polychrome“. It is about my grandfather who spent most of his life out in the woods as a woodcutter.
I recorded it live in the attic of our old farmhouse. In the back you can see piles of those old tools they would have used back then, when everything was made by hand. The guitar is a wooden National Triolian from 1929.
